"AI don't bite"
AI is gaining traction in both, science and industry. However, while many businesses and research groups are keen to adopt, fears of "AI traps" hold them back. Certainly, one needs to remember about problems and challenges. But in the same time, we should talk about opportunities and constructive solutions. Accordingly, this panel's goal is to convince the audience that AI is truly worth developing and applying, although it is indeed important to do it in a thoughtful way.
The panel will be moderated by Dominik Ślęzak - one of the chairs of the FedCSIS Conference Series - and it will take a form of the three rounds of questions:
- What are your favorite AI techniques and your favorite AI application areas?
- What are the biggest challenges in AI applications and have you encountered them in your own work?
- How to educate people (scientists, business, students, end-users) about AI opportunities and pitfalls?
The list of panelists includes the experts with a diverse international background in AI research and applications:
- Jarosław Arabas (Warsaw University of Technology)
- Ivan Luković (University of Belgrade)
- Gloria J. Miller (Maxmetrics)
- Alina Powała (QED Software)
Besides questions and answers, there will be also a room for open discussion and exchange of ideas. Everyone is welcome to share his or her AI experiences!
